Georgina Campbell Flatter MS MEng (Oxon) is the Executive Director of the MIT Legatum Center for Development & Entrepreneurship and a Senior Advisor to the MIT Regional Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program (MIT REAP). Georgina has broad knowledge of entrepreneurship acceleration and innovation policy, which she developed through her experiences as Executive Director of MIT REAP, Director and Lecturer of the XPRIZE Lab @ MIT, Managing Director and Advisor to the MIT Clean Energy Prize, and as an Innovation Consultant at the World Bank Group. She also has deep technical expertise in renewable energy and biomaterials, developed through her experiences as a material science researcher at the Langer Lab at MIT and later as a scientist at the venture-funded renewable fuels MIT startup, Sun Catalytix. Two of her recent papers were published in top academic journals: PNAS and Research Policy. Georgina holds a Master of Engineering in Materials Science from the University of Oxford and a Master of Science in Technology and Policy from MIT.
